Leadership and Work-Life-Balance: Different perspectives and challenges

The Leadership and Work-Life-Balance course offers participants the opportunity to gain input for their own leadership roles. They will learn how to develop strategies and respond competently in high-stress situations. Emphasis is placed on dealing with one’s own leadership challenges as well as issues of balancing clinical and research demands, work and personal life.

Objectives
  • Reflect on the different roles and the associated leadership skills in the organization
  • Discuss own leadership challenges and how these can be addressed
  • Recognize which personal values influence role identities and where priorities lie in order to make conscious decisions for oneself
  • Evaluate the different roles for professional development and personal balance
Target audience Assistant Professors and Externally Funded Assistant Professors of the Faculty of Medicine and the Vetsuisse Faculty
